There are two different macro-categories of wine consumers: the ones who knows, and the ones who relies on others. Nevertheless, we must pay attention not to address anyone into these two categories, since everyone feels like be-
longing to the other type.
The wise ones are sometimes knowledgeable, while some other times they’ve been told something. He knows that when he swirls the glass he will see the tears and he’s been told that the more tears he counts, the better the wine will be. On the other hand, the ones who listen to the others they know that many tears are a synonym for high alcoholicity, and maybe they’d rather go for a more gentle wine.
