Scopello

One of the most charming places in the province of Trapani, a few kilometres from Palermo, Scopello is immersed in a seascape of extraordinary beauty, with clear blue waters reflecting the Faraglioni.
Its old Tonnara (tuna netting and killing complex) is reported to exist as early as the XIII century but has not been used for some years. It is dominated by Torre Scopello or Doria, dating from the XVI century and still in excellent condition. Not far away is a beach of white pebbles, the charming Guidaloca Bay.
